At CleanSea our goal is to stop marine life from being harmed by ocean trash, and shape a clean future for the ocean!
CleanSea was started in 2019 by twins Lukas and Mikaela. Today we are 10 people working together to make an impact for marine life, and we all love the ocean!

Mikaela Julher: Co-founder
As a child I had a lot of passion for the ocean. I collected seashell species, different types of sand and made small "science" books about marine animals I found fascinating. As an adult, snorkelling has become my favourite thing. I've seen the ocean become less and less healthy, but CleanSea is how I can make the ocean a better place for sea life.

Lukas Julher: Co-founder
I've always been fascinated by the ocean and life under the surface. I love to snorkel, learn about interesting marine animals, and I want to do my absolute best to protect the future of our oceans.

I've always felt a great connection to the ocean. I love exploring Bohuslän by kayak or on foot, and feel inspired to do what I can to help protect and preserve this incredible environment.

My favorite place is outdoors and I’m really happy that I'm able to give something back for all my valuable hours spent in nature and out on the sea. We can all make a difference, and an even bigger one if we work together!
